He has completed all the 5 major Buddhist Treaties under the guidance of great and accomplished scholars of Sera Jey for the more than 21 years course duration including the 6 years of Great Gelugpa Board Examinations. The Gelug Board Examination demands lots of hard work, determination and vigorous trainings to get through it. As a result, he was conferred with Geshe Lharampa Degree( equivalent to Doctorate in Buddhist philosophy)in the presence of the entire monks of Sera Jey by the Abbot of Sera Jey Monastic University on 14th December 2011.
As a mark of gratitude and kindness of the Sera Jey monastery and Ngari Khangtsen, he made an extensive feast-offerings ( Geshe Tongo in Tib) to the monastery and Ngari Khangtsen on the Geshe Degree Convocation or Ceremonial Day.
